Kailangan Kita ("I Need You", if translated) is an amazing film. The premise of the engaged man falling for the sister of his fiance is executed in a believable and sweet way. It is nice that the topic of rural Filipino family life and the daughter or son who shoulders the burden of house maintenance is touched upon.

Celebrity chef Carl flies from New York to marry his supermodel fianc�e, Chrissy in her hometown.    Of this movie and Babes, I recommend this one 1st, but "Closer to Home" is much better to learn about our culture and small town life.
   Sarah (Joyce Jimenez) is not happy about the idea of her mother Vivian (Elizabeth Oropesa) getting married to Michael (Julio Diaz). But when she confronts her and Vivian describes how happy she is, Sarah eventually gives her consent.
   Sarah is hesitant about Michael though. She feels that Michael desires her but is helpless because Michael has earned Vivian's trust that Vivian even goes out of her way to make the two comfortable with each other. All these Sarah confides to her "special friend" Nick with whom she has a relationship which her mother disapproves of.. There is brief nudity and violence in both films as part of the story script. I tried to find strictly family movie but they not available for me to sell.
   Babes (Joyce Jimenez) has established a good reputation as an entertainer in Japan, that clients fight over her. But soon, the fighting becomes intense, she decides to come home--but with a different identity. In her native land, Babes decides to continue her career as an entertainer and as expected, customers never seem to get enough of her. Later, she encounters Tol, a pervert who uses her to pay off his debts, despite this, Babes is crazy over Tol and she agrees to the set-up. For a while, Babes could not get out of the situation--until one fateful night...
